Friday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 13, 6 p.m., Pordenone <\/b>(Adam and Eve Bridge)<\/h4>\n

– On the Way of St. Christopher around Pordenone<\/b><\/h4>\n

With Alice Sannia, tour guide, we will ideally cross Porta Furlana<\/strong>, to reach Piazzetta San Marco. We will visit the Duomo, a treasure chest of art and history<\/strong>, dwelling on the works of Pordenone. We will continue in Contrada Maggiore<\/strong>, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, ending the walk in Piazzetta Cavour, near the ancient Porta della Bossina<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Saturday, May 10 and Friday, May 16, 6 p.m., Pordenone <\/b>(Villa Romana in front of the church of Sts. Hilary and Tatian)<\/h4>\n

– On the Way of St. Christopher around Tower<\/b><\/h4>\n

With Alice Sannia, tour guide, we will discover the history from the Roman settlement of the Rural Villa<\/strong>, to the Castle of the Counts of Ragogna, surrounded by the resurgent waters that feed the Noncello River. From the church of Sts. Hilary and Tatian, to the nineteenth-century industrial development<\/strong> linked to the cotton mill industry. We will conclude by skirting the waters of the Noncello<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Sunday, May 11, 8:30 a.m., Tramonti di Sotto <\/b>(Piazza S. Croce)<\/h4>\n

– Stories of stones, waters and people on the Way of St. Christopher<\/b><\/h4>\n

Discovering a naturalistic context of<\/strong> remarkable interest, which holds among the ancient hamlets<\/strong> stories of women and men of other times. Along the ring of the Meduna Valley<\/a> to listen to the breath and voices of the old stones of Palcoda and Tamar<\/strong> and refresh ourselves among the clear waters of the Chiarz\u00f2<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Length: 7.5 km – Height difference: 500 m – Duration: 3 hours 30<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday, May 17, 3 p.m., Spilimbergo (Palazzo di Sopra)<\/b><\/h4>\n

– <\/b>Mosaic of Stories<\/b><\/h4>\n

Walk along the St. Christopher’s Way to discover the mosaics<\/strong> among the streets of the City and the Gallery of the Friuli Mosaic School<\/strong> with the City Gatherers. To follow, at 5 p.m. at the Palazzo di Sopra, stories by Paolo Paron<\/strong> and musical interludes by the Piccolo coro Natissa of Aquileia<\/strong> and the Mosaico di Voci White Voices Choir of theTomat Association of Spilimbergo.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Sunday, May 18, 9 a.m., <\/b>Pinzano al Tagliamento<\/b> (Borgo Ampiano Mill)<\/h4>\n

– St. Christopher and the fords<\/b><\/h4>\n

From the mill<\/strong>, on to Valeriano with its frescoed church of the Confraternita dei Battuti<\/strong>, then down through unspoiled forest to Borgo Mizzari where, fording the stream and through a rural landscape<\/strong>, we will reach the churches of Gaio and Baseglia di Spilimbergo<\/strong>, then Lestans and then Borgo Ampiano. St. Christopher will be our guide showing us the way<\/strong>. Upon arrival , the Borgo Market<\/strong> awaits us with exhibition stands and food and wine offerings. <\/p>\n
