Pilgrim’s Guide

The Walk of Peace Guide is a nimble, pocket-sized, easy-to-follow tool, available at an affordable price to all, that pilgrims can take with them to discover all the wonders of a unique and extraordinary route. The first part contains insights into the historical-cultural aspects of the Way, some short essays telling about the millenary human presence along the route: transhumance and sheep-tracks, hermitism and monasticism, sanctuaries and places of worship, with a rich photographic apparatus.
The second part, on the other hand, illustrates one by one the 29 stages (+ the 3 stages of the “Mountain Variant”), describing their salient peculiarities, plano-altimetric characteristics and main points of interest; for each stage there will be a detailed map, created on a Google basis, and special focuses on the most important cultural emergencies, as well as brief notes on the municipalities hosting the stages. At the end of the volume there are useful news, recommendations, tips and suggestions for those setting out on the road. The Guide is an indispensable tool that, together with the App (which allows you to have all the stages georeferenced on your smartphone), will accompany the pilgrim from departure to arrival.
