A marvellous historic building with stylistic references to Venetian Villas, in the late 1800s it was for a few decades the home of the industrialist family of the same name, of Lombard origin, who were engaged in sericulture in Stevenà. In the adjacent building, still visible today, are the old drying rooms where a substantial amount of silkworm cocoons were processed. The four dryers, intact and perfectly integrated into the building that houses them, represent one of the rare examples still existing in Italy of this a production model. At the end of the 1990s, the Villa became municipal property; planning activities and renovation began, which since its reopening (2012) makes Villa Frova an extraordinary multifunctional cultural container. The park located in the area in front of the Villa, which is large and well cared for, full of lush vegetation and evocative corners, is used throughout the year for numerous cultural initiatives.
