– On the Way of St. Christopher around Pordenone
With Alice Sannia, tour guide, we will ideally cross Porta Furlana, to reach Piazzetta San Marco. We will visit the Duomo, a treasure chest of art and history, dwelling on the works of Pordenone. We will continue in Contrada Maggiore, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, ending the walk in Piazzetta Cavour, near the ancient Porta della Bossina.

Saturday, May 10 and Friday, May 16, 6 p.m., Pordenone (Villa Romana in front of the church of Sts. Hilary and Tatian)
– On the Way of St. Christopher around Tower
With Alice Sannia, tour guide, we will discover the history from the Roman settlement of the Rural Villa, to the Castle of the Counts of Ragogna, surrounded by the resurgent waters that feed the Noncello River. From the church of Sts. Hilary and Tatian, to the nineteenth-century industrial development linked to the cotton mill industry. We will conclude by skirting the waters of the Noncello.

Sunday, May 11, 8:30 a.m., Tramonti di Sotto (Piazza S. Croce)
– Stories of stones, waters and people on the Way of St. Christopher
Discovering a naturalistic context of remarkable interest, which holds among the ancient hamlets stories of women and men of other times. Along the ring of the Meduna Valley to listen to the breath and voices of the old stones of Palcoda and Tamar and refresh ourselves among the clear waters of the Chiarzò.

Saturday, May 17, 3 p.m., Spilimbergo (Palazzo di Sopra)
– Mosaic of Stories
Walk along the St. Christopher’s Way to discover the mosaics among the streets of the City and the Gallery of the Friuli Mosaic School with the City Gatherers. To follow, at 5 p.m. at the Palazzo di Sopra, stories by Paolo Paron and musical interludes by the Piccolo coro Natissa of Aquileia and the Mosaico di Voci White Voices Choir of theTomat Association of Spilimbergo.

Sunday, May 18, 9 a.m., Pinzano al Tagliamento (Borgo Ampiano Mill)
– St. Christopher and the fords
From the mill, on to Valeriano with its frescoed church of the Confraternita dei Battuti, then down through unspoiled forest to Borgo Mizzari where, fording the stream and through a rural landscape, we will reach the churches of Gaio and Baseglia di Spilimbergo, then Lestans and then Borgo Ampiano. St. Christopher will be our guide showing us the way. Upon arrival , the Borgo Market awaits us with exhibition stands and food and wine offerings.
