On the Path, 2024

On the Way of St. Christopher

When the soul meets beauty

From September 20-28, 2024

We will set out again along the piedmont route, from which this journey was born. We will do it together, to rediscover step by step the beauty and harmony that draws our territory, where the plain meets the overhangs of the Carnic Pre-Alps, immersing ourselves in nature and culture, crossing paths that connect small villages, forests, hills and endless stories.

We are calling together walkers, pilgrims, curious people and lovers of authentic and sincere Friuli, far from mass tourism, close to the traditions, the land and its waters.
With us will be fellow travelers, nature guides, journalists, bloggers, keepers of the path, people who know and love these places, to tell, chat and share.

Because a journey can be experienced alone, but together it becomes even more of an opportunity for growth.

Some useful details to make the most of this experience

All stages from September 20 to 28 will be on foot and open to all.

You can choose the stages you prefer, building and living the path as you wish.

Total length of the piedmont route: 145 km

Each stage will have the following characteristics:

  • 9 a.m. Departure
  • Free lunch break where everyone can make their own arrangements while also taking advantage of the hospitality facilities participating in the Camino
  • 2 p.m. Departure to finish the stage.
  • 1700 hours arrival at destination and possible retrieval of cars
  • Some stages will be followed by activities open not only to walkers, an opportunity for exchange and reflection on different aspects of the Camino
  • Each stage will turn over the “Travel Diary” in which each walker can leave a trace and voice of their passage
  • At each stop there will be one or more “Fellow Travelers” and “Keepers of the Path” who will donate stories…seek them out and walk with them to discover the soul and beauty of our Path…a Path with many voices
  • Each participant will make his or her own arrangements for lunch and any overnight stays (we suggest that you contact the facilities participating in the Camino)
  • All participants complete the route together at the stage arrival point, whether they are then accommodated in a hotel or return to the starting point.
  • At the end of the event there is an opportunity to take drivers to retrieve their cars at the starting point of the daily stage

To learn the details, envision this trip and better organize yourself, we have created a document that you can safely browse online and will be updated with any changes.
Here is the program.

This is the registration form where you can indicate the stages you wish to travel with us.

We look forward to seeing you on the Walk!
