The route begins in Tàmar, surrounded by woodland, before descending towards Campone, a peaceful village in the Val Meduna, and ends in Clauzetto, offering panoramic views of the Friulian plain, the Gulf of Trieste and Istria.
It takes you through an ancient world of beech forests, meadows and mountain farming life in harmony with nature. About halfway along this short but intense route, you reach Pradis, a village rich in scenery and history. The cave, the canyon and the prehistoric finds attract visitors and cavers alike. The stage ends with a panoramic view over the Friuli plain as far as the Gulf of Trieste and Istria. Clauzetto, the ‘balcony of Friuli’, is the final destination.
